About WordSlick

WordSlick is an AI language coach made by Indusir Limited, a small company in Dublin, Ireland. We build it for people who need to speak a language for real: at work, in an interview, in a new country.

What we believe

• Speaking is the skill that matters most and gets practised least. So every session includes speaking, and the AI tutor is always available.
• Your first language is not noise. The mistakes it causes are predictable. We wrote a ruleset of them for each pair of languages, and the coach uses it to warn you before you trip and to explain why when you do.
• Explain in the learner’s language. Beginners and busy professionals should not have to decode an explanation in the language they are still learning.
• Honest progress. Levels are estimates. Scores need evidence. When we cannot measure something reliably for a language, we do not show a number.

How the content is made

The interference rules, natural expressions, speaking scenes and their translations are hand-authored and checked by our team, then used both in the app and on these pages. AI generates practice conversations and feedback inside the app; it does not write the reference material you read here. Our editorial policy explains how we write and correct pages.
